Hi, I am planning on getting four chicks (mixed flock of hens) later this year. I feel like I have researched quite a bit about chickens, but there is always something new to learn. Also, I haven't done as much research on 'managing my flock' than I have about breeds and that kind of stuff. So if anyone has tips on managing new chicks or preferably "teen" and/or adult chickens, I would LOVE for you to reply to this. Thanks!

There is lots of information in our Learning center on raising chicks and caring for a flock.

keep the coop/run reasonably clean, keep clean water and feed out for them each day, keep a predator proof run/coop, and don't over crowd them. Too many hens cause a lot of problems.

Also, remember what seems like a big space when they are little, shrinks as they grow.
