I have a broody hand that’s currently sitting on 10 eggs and one chick has hatched, but she is still sitting on the 10 eggs so she hasn’t really been teaching it how to drink and eat. Can someone give me some tips on how to teach it to drink and eat?

How old is it?It is probably still absorbing yolk.If you still want to show it you can just dip its beak in the food and water.

Dip the beak in water. Then put it back make sure the water is close. They learn.
For food i always make mash to teach to eat then do the same then they get crumbles after and will eat

It’s a day old. I have been dipping its beak, it hasn’t learned yet though

Leave it alone for 3 days, it's still absorbing the yolk.
Mama will take care of it when the other eggs have hatched.
Unless you have a staggered hatch going on.

Thank you! Unfortunately i do have a staggered hatch as all the eggs are from the same hen…

This is not the right conclusion.
It depends on the day the hen starts sitting the whole day. Most broodies stop laying when they start to sit the whole day. This is first day of the 21 one days of the hatch.

They aren’t her eggs. They are another hens eggs that are fertile that she sat on
