Tips on telling chicks apart

I need some good ways to tell chick(ens)s apart.

Leg bands, wing web bands, toe web punching are all permanent ways of identifying chickens. Twist ties on legs, dyes are non permanent tools.

Yes, they will be one breed (there going to be Houdans).

Yes you can but you will need to check on them periodically because chicks do grow so fast you wouldn't want it to cut off their circulation.
