Deer get hit on bridges more often than you might think. Once upon a time when I had a Jeep CJ 5, a deer ran into the side of it while I was crossing a bridge.

Well, it is 2020

Back in 1993-95 in my Subaru 4wd wagon I had a deer strike.... Late night, back country road, michigan, fall, .... It was running and froze for "just long enough" then bolted - right into the rear most quarter panel. Leaving a doubled breasted indentation directly next to passenger tail light and cracked the edge of it too. It looked like someone sat against it hard!

3-4wks ago, down around Cedar Creek Lake, my better half had a similar event with our "new to us" minivan. Deer did that exact same stunt to her, and left a nearly identical double breasted indentation on the same area of the van, just bearly in front of the rear passenger tail light assembly.
