My mother and father managed to survive five children, including myself -- and that takes a special kind of person (or pair).
My mother's mother (may she rest in peace) raised eight. One heck of a woman with one heck of a husband!

Both mine and my hubs’ grandparents had 10 and 2. On my side 7 of the 10 survived infancy. Everybody else after stoped at 1 or 2 kids. (In a couple of cases, per spouse)

Oh, and apologies for the lack of, er, clothing -- when I think of sirens or mermaids, I tend to think of the old sculptures and paintings of scantily-clad fish-ladies.
And I'm also not really an expert at modeling character faces after real-life faces.

Holy canoli, girl! I freaking LOVE it!! I am often scantily clad, so that part is very appropriate. It's absolutely perfect.
I think you should sell your RP portraits. I'd buy!
