I'll have re see if I can remember to get pictures of my two longest pairs and some of my hens that have spurs
I have a 6 month old pullet with huge spur buds. It's crazy and I'm continuously second guessing her gender. I believe I have a picture I can share. I know it's not unheard-of though, just a first for me
Both my spitz gals got them really, really young. Younger than my naked neck males the same age did. Except that they both lay, I was worried I'd gotten the only boys in the pullet box

I have 2 EE roosters that are about 11 months old. I got them as "Ameraucana" chicks from TSC. One is white & black. The other one is black, cream, green, blue, purple, and white. I don't even know what to call his color pattern.... 
Anyway, the black roo is the dominant one. He has never made any aggressive moves towards me, even with my back turned, although I have always been on the lookout for the slightest inclination that he might try. So far he hasn't. I did have one moment when I felt a flutter brush my calf and I thought maybe he had jumped at me but it is also possible that he was simply startled by a hen that had jumped out unexpectedly and he leaped out of the way. I've thought about this ONE experience a lot and decided to give him the benefit of the doubt because he has never shown any other attempts to jump at me or show any kind of aggression or dominance towards me.
The other roo, the white one, did jump at me ONE time. I was sitting on a stool holding one of my BO hens who was raised as a pet. The white roo had come over to inspect the scene under the guise like he had found some interesting bit of food on the ground by me. The moment I went to set my hen on the ground, he launched at us. I don't know if he was aiming for her, me, or both of us but I came after him and was absolutely ready to kill him in that moment. I chased him for a few seconds and then picked up a paver stone and threw it at him with all my strength. It hit him square in the back and flattened him. I'm sure it hurt but didn't seriously injure him. He has never tried to come at me again and gives me a very wide berth any time I come out to the yard.
At this point, I am fine letting my boys keep their places in the flock but if either of them EVER tries to attack ANYONE on my property, they will become dinner. I have no patience for any kind of aggressive animal.
On a side note, I have a GLW rooster too who is about 6 months old. He has adopted a group of (adopted) game hens as his flock. He no longer goes in my coop with the other chickens but instead roosts in the rafters of my barn with the game hens. So far he seems very docile and I hope he stays that way....

It's really funny, I actually have a male with a spur longer than his toes because has lost his toes to frostbite. His spurs aren't even get long but they're longer now than what knuckles he has left

One of my Red JungleFowl hybrid hens have a long pointy spur.
She's beautiful
