My luck lately has been about as good as yours. Hoping it will turn around here in the near future!

Shipping emu eggs is difficult. Some people have luck, but the lady I get them through lives outside of the worst usps hub there is in Texas. If the box says fragile on it, I swear they throw it on the ground even harder. Wish they would catch the a**hats that do that.

And I can't imagine how much you've paid for the eggs because all the ones that I've seen have been quite pricey like $100 per egg

So I purchased two batches of two eggs each. 4 eggs ran me about $460 with shipping. The second batch of 4 eggs was a freebee due to none of them developing.

The eggs I’m going to buy from Tucson AZ are $40 each and should be able to get 3 or 4 with the usps claim refund, as the last shipment of damaged eggs was insured. Hoping it all works out!

Hoping so too. I keep imagining their little spot in the coop and them running around while the chickens scratch at the grass. Once they’re out and about, I can let the younger chickens out and not worry about hawks/eagles.

So I will still be hatching in march. Just added 2 turkey eggs from my silver pen. Stupid hen is broody but a bad mama, my luck has been that eggs gathered from under a broody hen have to be put straight in the incubator or they will not develop. Hmmph
