Yeah I only wondered because you said 30 days still with yolk.( I had a muscovy that laid green coated eggs, but shell was definetely white). Is it still absorbing? I'll find the link I used for my little duckling which really helped to stop membrane drying out. You've done the rest of it beautifully

It was so hard to not screw up. I screwed up on one and killed it. I feel like a jerk

I made the mistake of leaving the house to meet someone to give them Olive Egger chicks...it's a MADHOUSE out there today!

It happens even when you're familiar with what you're doing. Assisting malpositions is very challenging. You did great!

There's every chance it wasn't going to hatch. Don't think about the what ifs, they will consume you. (Yes I know how hard it is not to, but atleast trying will help you be present for the little one who needs your full attention)

I'm cooking my first chicken that I processed all by myself. I don't eat meat but DANNNNGGGG does this chicken smell delicious.

It's the cutest little duckling ever even though I don't know what color it is or anything but every time I rub its little bill, it will nibble on my finger it loves me already

Omg, right? I had to run out briefly this morning and it was not pretty. I am meeting people tomorrow to give them their new babies and I’m hoping it’s not chaos.
