Henny, yours is not the first thread of this type...there have been several in the last six months or so, so don't feel like you're the only one that has noticed. I'm glad there are folks that ARE noticing, because I, like others, will leave if it gets too be too much more than I care to see each day.

THe report button is there for use when a thread or member is out of line.
I encourage all to use it to assist the Staff in moderating these threads and posts.
We do look at each and every report and often discuss a course of action among us all.
We take actions as needed. Sometimes a simple removal of the post or editing or locking a thread.

Thanks for the heads up on some things to look for.

Even with the best intentions,

quoting something that is offensive makes it necessary for us to search for and edit each post that quotes it.


If something is bad enough to report, then please please please, everyone, dont repeat the offense by directly quoting it.
