hey guys I was duped too. It's nice to see we all had the same idea. I guess that was a lesson learned!!
Well i'm going to get on with my life and not worry about this anymore. She will get hers big time one of these days. think I"ll go see what I have missed.

All I will say is I've sat on the fence before and disagreed with what moderadors have done in the past(at the old BYC)....only to find out later I only knew half the story (if that much) and they had made the correct decision. As time goes by, I'm sure it will happen again- it is a natural part of living---as Bird Brain said- we've all paid dues at the university of life- wether through a board like this, or other life situations....

I trust the volunteer staff here more than they realize----I learned that through many a positive interactions here at the University of BYC!!! (excellent learning establishment that it is!!)

After the most recent banning which thankfully passed without uproar, I of course was dying to know why, but realized that the Moderators know tons more than us. They catch objectionable posts very quickly and edit or delete them to save us grief, or they know information from e-mails they receive but can't divulge to us. They are always privvy to more information than us. I for one, don't mind trusting them, and I admire their ability to keep their mouths shut when they are probably dying to justify their actions to us.

I only know of 2 folks who were banned. Actually, I don't know if the one was banned or left of their own free will. I'm sure I've been close before.

Just to let everyone know, I never want to hurt anyone in this community. If I do ever hurt any one of you, just send me an e-mail and I'll make it right. This cool weather we've been havin' has had me feeling a bit frisky and I may have gone too far, but it's all been purely innocent, I PROMISE. I'm just glad I don't have the net at home. Can y'all imagine what I might say after a few silver goose eggs on the weekend?

PS: If anyone wants to fill me in on this stuff, I sure would appreciate it. I hate being the mushroom!

Yeppers, the staff of forums generally know a lot more than the members do. They make decisions with more knowledge and experience. Also, they talk amongst each other before taking action too, so you can see it as... the Borg collective (Star Trek reference).

For those that were duped, live and learn. Know in your heart that you are good and well intentioned people.

Can someone please forward me the email also, I helped this person, at least one of them. I only recognize one of those names and I was wondering as it was all going on if I was being duped! Now, I guess by insinuation I know! But Id like to get the rest of the story.

Boy and I glad I didnt follow through with more intentions I had tried to arrange with some other members for her.

I know she also started her own web page, but I never moved over there....I stayed here.​
