To be BO or not to be BO That is the question! Updated w/pics

A few of my BOs have some brown 'fleckering' on their tails. (I made that word up.) They do not look like they have been dipped in black paint though. A few have lost some feathers that are definately not 'show' bufforp quality. Big patches of dark brown.
The paint they got on them was red, so I can tell the difference.
We will forgive a bad photo, I am intrigued now. Do show!

They look to be New hampshire, red sex-link, or brown sex-link to me no buff at all.

The pictures are very washed out but she looks like a NH Red who is very light colored. yes they have single combs and yes, they have yellow legs and yes, they lay brown eggs. But they might have something else mixed in still to be that light.
