We are really new, so new in fact that our chicks won't even be arriving until 4/16:clap... I've read that clipping your flocks wings is a good way to keep everyone in your yard. I've also read that it's not necessary?

Hi! I think it depends on if the chickens in question start leaving the yard. I personaly do not clip my chickens, or peacocks, because I want them to be able to escape if something is chasing them. But I live in the country and my birds don't really wander. YET!
