Now see...that's a perfect example of why I refuse to live where it snows more than 2 inches on Christmas Day. It, of course, must be gone by the next afternoon too.
I live on the westside of the Cascades now and get 33+ inches of rain a year. Oh how I love the rain and green grass.
I grew up on the eastside of these same Cascade mountians with 4ft of snow for 8-9 months of the year, grey-colored grass and sagebrush showing the rest of the time. Never again.
