To help hatch or to not help hatch

I just got home from work and checked on my turkeys in the incubator and found that someone is trying to break out of jail. I have no idea how long he has been at it. So do I help or resist the urge?

Looks like a good pip, membrane doesn't appear to be drying out so I would leave him be. It can take up to 24 hours before chicks make any progress after pipping, and assisting too early could have disastrous consequences.

I had the same question only mine had the membrane drying out. The chick stalled for 30 hours then zipped and hatched no problem.
