I have a brinsea automatic incubator which holds seven duck eggs. It says to let the eggs cool for thirty minutes but then it can take another thirty mins to get up to temperature again so do I just cool for 10mins say?

my other incubator is an et 12 super and that says cool for 15 mins so I’m confused what is best?
And then the main question.....do I mist? When do I start? Today is start of day seven

Hi - I use both Brinseas (with automatic cooling options) and Hova-Bators...my Brinsea recommends 2 hour cooling for waterfowl, but I prefer to simply take the eggs out, mist them, and let them cool at room temperature for the specified period. Then I put them back into the incubator.

I follow this schedule, by @pete55. Best of luck!
