To turn or not to turn...

I just purchased an older Sportsman 1250 hatcher. It holds temp and humidity like a champ. It does not have turners or the ability to place turners. I have 3 little giant turners but they do not fit in the cabinet. I could canabilize them and make something work or does anyone in here have success not turning or just shifting the tray twice a day? I used to use 3 little giants. Hatch rate wasn't too bad. This thing holds temp and humidity way more consistantly.

Yes, it has been cleaned.. our water is SUPER hard and leaves deposits that are almost impossible to remove. It is also like 15-20 years old but still working!
Thank you!

Right, being a "hatching" machine and not technically an incubator, if you want to incubate in it I'd mark the eggs on each side. I do D and N, that way if I'm spacing off I can check if I turned them or not.
I've had success with just turning twice a day minimum, if you are able to turn more than that would be even better.
