To ventilate more or not to ventilate more?

I believe @aart is saying to ventilate the shared wall with the run so you have protection from rain coming into an exterior side. It's not for the run but for the coop.

High ventilation is the best kind. Those metal registers are too far down from the peak to be moving much of the hot, upwards moving air. They are too small. So by cutting out an entire triangle section near the roof peak of the wall that is shared with the run, more hot air can escape without causing weather issues.

I took one last picture to be sure before I just start cutting lol. So you are suggesting that the red area needs to be removed for proper ventilation?

Yep.
Might be good to cover opening with HC to avoid any predator intrusion,
even if yo think your run is predator proof.
Will also prevent any birds from flying up and out of coop.
