ok so i ordered 15 babies from Cackle and they are set to ship on the 15th.. cackle says they will be here the 18th or 19th... they ahvent even shipped yet and im sooo anxious.. why cant shipping chicks be like shipping horses?? lol then i could call every 2 hours and drive the post office people insane! lol
what do you do to keep your mind off of the tiny chick being shipped? Cuz im going NUTS

i did ask them about the shipping and they said they could get their earlier and that they expected them to be her on the 18th but may not get here till the 19th. i live in Idaho and i guess thats a ways away??

Oh, and I 100% agree that I would call them and ask to ammend the shipping method or ask for a Monday shipment. The 15th is a Wed, 19th is a Sunday, so if you don't receive your chicks by Saturday, you won't get them until Monday (or later)

With my recent experience with Wed. shipped chicks from Cackle (over the 4th holiday weekend) not arriving until Tuesday, personally whatever extra it would cost to upgrade to Express mail would be worth it. Then you aren't wondering as much as *knowing* when they will arrive.

Please forgive me if I sound negative, but I just would strongly recommend a monday ship date or expedited shipping.

I believe if I am not mistaken Cackle ships on wednesdays. I always get my orders from them on Fridays. I don't know if that will help you or not but if you look on your invoice it will tell you the ship date.

I wanted to add that I have ordered from other hatcheries in the past and pick my birds up from the post office on Sundays when they are closed to the public.
