To YOU that loves the Sebright!

My free chick from MM is a silver sebright. He/she has been a very active chickie since day one (they are 2 weeks old now) and holds it's own with my bantam silver penciled rocks. I'm hoping it is a hen, or else it can't stay here! I plan on keeping 1 or 2 SPR roosters, so another rooster won't work. It sure is a cute bird and I can't wait to see what it looks like when fully feathered. It is far ahead in the feather dept. I was bummed to see in the catalog that it says they never go broody, glad to hear that is wrong!

Heres a pic of my old sebright pair. They get such a bad reputation but mine weren't flighty, mean or aggressive i could pick them up whenever i wanted to. They came up to me. At youth fair, i hung out there the whole week and carried my sebrights and sat them down on the table while i was doing something and they would just sit there lol they were sooooooo sweet

I am OBSESSED with this breed! I want to see pics!

Just so you know, it is a myth about them being hard to raise

I only have hatchery birds and would love some from SQ stock. I've only had one of my hens try to brood so far. My rooster could also care less about mating with them

He likes the big girls
