TOAD EGGS!!

That's great! I'm glad that you are going to have a nice big flock.

I am also going to get a few small flocks around the area so I have a source if something happens to mine. I am just real worried if mine catch something it has all be for naught. I want to take the eggs out of one basket and spread them around.

Hey all.

I am slowly getting toad eggs out there. I am not getting a lot of eggs, but hopefully the gene pool is spreading, so far the eggs have went to people in Minnesota.

I am hoping to have some to send to the adjoining states soon. I do have a couple families that plan to show them in the county fairs fro 4H this year competing against the CX's I am excited for this.

They all want a sustainable meat bird.

Thanks for your patience. I wish I had more hens laying, Also I want it noted the fertility is not what I was expecting so far this spring. I am going to make some changes here to see if I can improve it.

Thanks again

Ralphie, I've been following on your other threads. Sounds like you've hit upon a genius combination. Hoping to get some out west here to raise a perpetual flock for family food. Lots of free range acreage with bugs galore. I hatched black giants last year that turned out to not be as giant as I was hoping for, lol! Was hoping to get chickens close to the size of our turkeys. Lots of good eggs along with my other layers but not big on meat. I'll be watching and buying when you start shipping!
