Today I found my chicken laying in direct sunlight and shaking/unable to stand

Since the day after I made this post, so Saturday. My mom said that she was already acting lethargic the day before though. I think you're right since all my other chickens are fine it's probably alright.

There actually are very few contagious diseases, and when those are in your flock, it's very obvious. I believe you're safe in returning the surviving chicken to her flock.

Thank you azygous for confirming that for me. I have returned her to the flock and they have accepted her back like nothing happened. She seems to be doing better as well, not in one spot anymore but moves about a bit with the rest of the flock.

I will keep you guys posted.

Hi all I have no major updates as all has been good and I will probably stop updating this thread unless my chicken regresses, but she is on her way back to her old self as of now. She is just a bit more behind the flock and comes in last when I give them food/treats but she arrives and eats nonetheless.
