so ive been home 3 hrs and there is little progres...they certainly have not zipped there way out yet...how long does this all take? No pipping from the other 3 yet.

heheeheh thats what i feared you would say! Oh well i will go to bed and see if there are chickies in the am...is it normal for there to be a difference in the timing of the pipping for eggs from the same batch even when i know they were all alive and well at day 18?

Well, remember mine last week (misfit)
Well i had thought i saw movement at day 18/19 and that was misfits sibling egg.
DH opened it to see on day 24 and it was a 1/2 developed chick.....not pretty as he put it.
Good luck trying to sleep tonight, it really is the best thing you can do. I put my incubator on craigslist tonight....I will let my hens do it next time. Let us know what you find in the morning. I hope they all hatch for you

So glad to hear that you finally have two that are pipping. End of day 20 for me here. I put the eggs (2) up to my ear and I heard some slight tick, tick, tick sounds. So, I'm hoping that all is well. I will be watching for your posts to see how things are going and I will let everyone know how mine are doing as well. Can't wait to see pictures of your babies!
