Today is lockdown, UPDATE: 2 hatched

100% would be super great but I am happy with the 50%. This means that I CAN hatch an egg. So far the 2 little chicks are not playing hockey with the other eggs but I have a separate incubator I can put them in if need be.I need to go to my storage facility and get the brooder light for the hatched out chicks. I also need to get a smaller feeder since the one I have is about 18" long and fora whole bunch of chicks.

The other 2 eggs don't show any signs of hatching but the 2 hatched chicks are doing fine so far. They will be moved into the brooder sometime Monday and learn to drink water and eat. I will get pictures at this time as its too hard to get them while still in the incubator. Now I have to get the coop and run built so they can go outside where they belong.

There's nothing like getting peeps to motivate you to build a coop. I got my first peeps last year before I even built my coop.

OMGoodness I almost couldn't reply, It said I wasn't loged in and it took me a couple of minutes to log in. Who remembers theri password after 2 years.

Anyway, I'm glad to see you got 2 now you know you can do it.
