It's done! They are moved into the coop and not at all sure what to think of it. All huddled in a corner under the light, poor things.
I scattered some mealworms on the floor and that got them out and exploring.
A few even ventured up to check out the roosts and look out the window.
I finally tore myself away and headed into the house for lunch ... still keeping an eye on them via the coop cam, of course. They settled in for a little rest, right by the door where they last saw me.
A bit later, they were up eating and drinking.
So far, so good ... though we did have one very minor injury. Meg managed to scrape her comb just a bit when we put her in the kennel to move them.

She seems fine, though. I'll keep an eye on it over the next couple of days, just to be sure.
Whew, what a stressful morning! I think I need some chocolate.
