Today's happenings (PICS!)

I love your pics, Carri!

You must have started your garden a long time before I did, none of my stuff is as far along as yours! My corn is only a foot tall right now, lol. I didnt even notice those peppers the first time I saw the pic, they look great.

Thanks, Jordan! I think I planted it in March? I can't remember now. It gets so dang hot down here during the summer that I wanted it to be established before then. We only frost like twice a year, so I was able to get it in the ground early. I lost the sugar snap peas... somewhere between that

gopher and a heat wave we had last month. So, now I have to wait until Sep/Oct to get the peas back in the ground.

NICE garden!!

That is the main thing I miss about living in So Cal. It didn't matter where I was living, apartment or house, a veggie garden would grow anywhere, almost anytime.
We just got our garden planted, now that the ground has warmed up. And it is STILL raining!

Cool! We planted our eggplants, peppers and tomatoes in April, but we didnt get anything else in until May. Its amazing how early you can plant! We planted the stuff in April and then got a frosty night and my peppers got a little frost bitten! Sounds great though.

You'll be proud of me, Jordan! I planted onions and green beans today. The beans and one variety of onions are from seed and the other onion is a plant. I have to have some instant gratification.

I have to get my garden growing. So far the Delightful Dozen are thumbs up for strawberries and a thumbs down on insects! They need to figure that part out! Maybe I will purchase and raise some mealworms to get them started!

Uh oh... you're in trouble. Once they find strawberries, they never go back!
