28/01/2014 sunrise Beijing It's a boring picture, but it's a sunrise. Kind of. (We were a little late setting out this morning )

I suppose it is. I haven't gotten round to getting photos off my phone yet, but there are some nice ones from last week's sunsets, which were vaguely visible between the structures of the city It's getting foggy again so I don't think there will be any discernible sun setting tonight.

Guess it's all about perspective. From the other side of the world, rural Oklahoma may be the exotic location.

Well I've never been within a thousand miles of there, so you're probably right

Here are some ancient photographs from last week. Since then I haven't been bothered going outside towards either extremity of the day. There's no particularly pressing need to set out ridiculously early, because it's the new year holiday.
Last night it finally started snowing, big whoop! I was out at 7 today (sunrise time) but I can't see a hundred metres ahead of me, let alone the sun.
