Today we finally got our first egg from one of our RIR! We are so excited!

Now how do I store it? In the fridge or on the counter? What egg boxes do you recommend for the refrigerator?

Thank you!

X3 on tymmestwo's advice. Mine are stores on an egg skelter on the counter.

A quick note, keep your counter eggs out of direct sunlight/near windows ESPECIALLY in the summer! They will go bad very quickly at the best, and at worst if they're fertilized you might pop open a partially-developed chick from the heat. :sick
Anywhere that has a somewhat steady temperature should be fine for counter-storage. If you wash 'em, fridge 'em.

I like the idea of the egg skelters and will have to keep searching to find who sells them. I thought My Pet Chicken would have them since they carry a lot of other supplies, but no luck there.
