Toddlers are Quackers

so sorry :hugs

i wish you lived closer so i could make you soup and rub your back

Thank you. :hugs
I've been super busy, but I'm catching up. I had 2 of my babies at home, with a midwife. My husband caught both of them as well! Loved home birth, loved the midwife experience, very hands off. I'm all about that when I'm having babies, with our first at the hospital, they would not just let me have my baby. I wouldn't go without a midwife because i have my babies really fast. I mean, 45 min to an hour start of labor to baby in the arms fast, and that can lead to bleeding issues and certain other things, but normally not a big deal. Still, I'll never give birth in a hospital again!

I hope you get to feeling better MC. Puking is the worst.
Thanks.
I am a control freak when it comes to giving birth. Well I never made it that far in my pregnancies, I know that I would have to have a homebirth. I was in the hospital for Duckling's birth. I can't begin to tell you how horrible everything was! They have a midwife that does all of the births, and she was a complete female dog. She had no respect for what the mother wanted. The nurses were… I would not want them touching my child. The only thing I can say it was a plus, was that I was treated better than anyone else there! I was clean, quiet and when I spoke, I didn't sound like an imbecile.
I am still annoyed that as one of you mentioned, Duckling's mother was asked what day she wanted to give birth.
My mother had seven children in four states, and six towns. Each baby was up to six weeks "late". I only recently found out that pregnancy actually lasts up to about 44 weeks. Where has that information been all of our lives?
Point being, I was going to have to fight to not be induced too early. Let alone at all! Delivery is pretty painless and fast.
The big issue with modern medicine and western birthing practices is they treat it as an illness and everything is an emergency to which they react with fear and end up causing more problems than stopping our preventing them
Yes!

While me not making sense is common, I really am very sick. The above post took me about 20 minutes or so to do because I have to keep closing my eyes to prevent vomiting. :th
I don't think that I told you my point in part of that was that I don't know when my baby would have been born last year, only that it would've been around now. Assuming it was as late as is common in my family.
Also, I had a 4 foot 11, 120 pounds while pregnant sister gave birth on her couch without making a sound.

I am so sorry you are feeling so sick.

when I gave birth to my last daughter, all 3 of my older kids were sleeping about 10 feet from me. I apparently am quiet when I give birth and didn't wake anyone up. LOL

They also make it worse, by not breeding bulldogs who can give birth naturally and just doing c-sections. It's ruining the breed.

If and when I ever own an English bulldog (I've always wanted one.) I intend 100% to make sure I buy from a breeder who breeds to make sure their bitches can whelp naturally. They do exist, but so many people just assume it's an automatic c-section.
good choice!!

My nephew was also sleeping across the room when she was giving birth.
When I had my daughter, my midwives assistant went to wake my oldest up to come watch his sister be born. He told them she had to wait till morning and rolled over and went back to sleep.

When he woke in the morning he was VERY upset that he'd missed it, and asked me why i didn't wait until morning.

Did you know that (ha ha ha ha!) some commercials annoy me so much, I won't buy their product?

IMO, a lot of women should not wear bikinis. Primarily every one of us! Even Chaos!!!
I was finally going to order diapers and stuff from the Honest Company. I was on their site, starting to fill my basket. I had the television on, and their newest commercial came on. I immediately canceled my order. It is my opinion, and you guys don't have to agree. I feel that mothers that wear bikinis are trashy. I don't care how good you look after having children. The point of a bikini is to show off what should be kept between you and your husband. You wear a bikini before marriage to get the attention of men. The woman is wearing a bikini because she plays pro volleyball. That is her uniform, and she happens to have children. Fine. My issue is that they would put it on television. So, I had a big issue with her wearing a bikini in front of her children in the commercial. I don't know what the point was in showing that so much. However, it was the way she said "mommy" that pushed me over the edge! :gig

I wear a bikini because I have tactile issues with 1 pieces. (autism sensory issue, the way one pieces fit, make it so I can't stop yanking on the bathing suit, which leads to other issues.)

And mostly, because I don't think anyone needs to see me naked in public. LOL
