lol that is to funny, Usually when we lock them up we (one of the boys and myself) do a head count. but if my husband helps lock it all up it tends to be a guessing game if everyone is in there..

I'll usually count the ducks and the birds in one coop (it's easy cause there's only 3 birds in it), the other coops I do a "Yup, looks like there's enough birds there" kind of thing.

You know you love your birds when you push mow your lawn so you can give the bagged clippings to the birds in their runs since they have to stay in for 2 days while you are at camp. ...and you have a perfectly good riding mower that now stays in the shed!
