Toddlers are Quackers

Boys... right?

Two. The age between, "She is so big!" And "Awe! She is still a baby!"
Duckling counted to ten by herself while we were reading bedtime stories. That earned her another book as a reward. In the book, Bert has a pacifier. She was never into them here. So, she couldn't remember what it was that was in his mouth. There was a pacifier sitting in the box next to me, so I handed it to her so she could see. I explained what it was for, and she put it in her mouth. There she was, fresh from a bath, big blue sleepy eyes, a pacifier in her mouth.

Just that fast she went from a genius to an infant,

I was looking up photos of "toddlers with pacifiers" to show an idea of how she looked. I mostly found photos of why it isn't cute to have a 2-ywar-old walking around with a pacifier. I get it that some parents aren't in a hurry to make their little one give it up. It doesn't mean I am going to encourage Duckling to start!

This is the best I could find of how precious she looked.
