My daughter has spent hours in their coop with them, and she'd put them on her arms and shoulders and sing to them and bring them treats.

They've been handled more then a kitten by her. LOL

Maybe that's why none of mine do it cause they know they could be on the menu.

My dog doesn't chase the ducks just the chickens, it's weird

And the cats I don't think will care BUT I can put the ducks in the basement and latch the door so the cats can go up an down but the dog can't

The hubby, well, my child will work on him

Ducks are filthy nasty beasts.
