Toddlers are Quackers

Hello everyone! I am not a mother (I am a bit young for that) but I do have a little sister. She is three. Today she had a temper tantrum because she wanted my mom to put underwear on her. Apparently, I am not good enough, and has the inability to put them on herself,

She has the ability. Don't be offended that she wanted your mom to do it. We all had favorites when we were young. Sometimes Mom "had" to tuck us in, but Dad couldn't even get a hug.

Because dad takes care of the kids during the weekdays while I work, there is certainly insistence that he be present during tuck in, even if dad doesn't want to.

I get to do all the work and the story reading and the dressing for bed and tooth brushing and bathing, yet they want him to do the tuck and hug.

don't feel bad. I bought my kid a milkshake today, and dad's still the only one good enough to tuck her into bed. Don't think you can buy their love, either :p

mine's the opposite. Mine loves to kiss/hug me good night, and get a story, but since dad works so much, he's the tucker-inner.
