Toddlers are Quackers

When we moved out of a rental, my cat had damaged a few door moldings and one casing needed repair. The repairs were quoted at $6500. I called bull. Landlord called a second contractor. Under $500. I think some contractors just count on being the top search result.

I'm past the point of coffee...

Went to kids' school room. The tile floor is FREEZING. "I should make something for under his desk. Don't want him unable to concentrate due to the cold floor." Make quilted pad perfectly sized for his desk with a corduroy foot cover (this takes under 10 minutes, by the way.)

Realize halfway through we aren't even wearing socks.

Realize once I have it made that slippers were the invention I was forgetting (I hate slippers for some reason, though, as does my son, so I'm still pretty happy with my cozy little pad.)

Took DS2 out trick or treating; he wasn't a big fan but did ok. We didn't stay out long.

I hope everyone his feeling warmer then me...don't like this damp cold.
