Her fever is gone, and she said her head wasn’t hurting tonight. Despite all the relatives, I was the one she had check her for a fever (kissing her forehead), and she seemed to gravitate to. Yes, that surprised me.

I tried to not get Duckling’s cold, but she needed affection, and I finally decided I could handle a cold. It’s been creeping up on me, and now I’m pretty miserable.
Serves me right.

Duckling suddenly decided to open the gifts under the tree. I wasn’t to turn on any decorations. She just wanted gifts.
She opened the Connect 4 Shots, and wanted to play. Then she opened her Frozen Play dough set. Played. Last under the tree was bathtub duck basketball. She says it’s duck basketball for playing in the baseball tub. She’s adamant about it.
Bath over, she went back to play dough. When it was bedtime, she put everything in a ziplock bag... and stored it in the bathroom.
She then fell asleep instantly.
