Has anyone had luck in recent years with the above ground pools? I had forgotten that Duckling’ pool needed replaced. I just cannot find a pool with more than two stars.

As we prepare for the “she can read!” years, I am celebrating her inability. 
She has a cold (nothing serious), and agreed to Vicks to help her breathe. While in the cabinet, I grabbed the cold medicine (not worth it today, but bedtime is different), and put it back. I took out the laxatives instead. She really is less snot bucket than gas without output. So I took advantage of her not being able to read, and only said it would help her. I just didn’t say help her what.

It was getting late last night when I got Duckling out of the tub, and tried to put a sleeper on her. I saw it when I was getting her out, but hoped I was wrong. She had a growth spurt. It’s been a few weeks since I used a sleeper. I had to scrounge around for something comfortable for her to wear.I’m glad it’s getting warmer, and she won’t really need the sleepers anymore.

She had been crying intermittently for about half an hour. I put her in her walker because it was at least freeing me up to do housework. Suddenly she pulled the placemat off the table. Silence! Look at that face!

She wasn’t very excited. It’s almost like she’s on an antidepressant.
