She has a red bottom from falling. She only cried once momentarily. I think it helps that I tell her to scream as loud as she can to get it out.
I was a jerk because I told her to stop putting her feet down, and getting off to turn it. I also didn’t tell her about the seat it comes with for little ones. I know she would refuse to try standing. As I said though, she’s pretty well mastered it, and can use the brake pretty well.
I felt she was ready for the back road. She was allowed to a certain point where cars coming off the highway could see us, and react. Four or five vehicles passed by, and she kept riding like a pro. I’m just as proud of her for sharing the road as I am how well she’s mastered turns and braking.
