Good to hear that it worked out ok! I just had a hen with a broken nail that was dripping blood. All I could do was catch her, locate the wound, irrigate with warm epsom salts water, and coat it with Bag Balm. I also put her in her own chicken tractor, as I think she injured herself that way from running from those pesky roos. On to 3 weeks later, I looked at it and it seems to be healing.
