Toe injury

One of my 10 week old pullets has an injury to one toe. I cleaned it when I noticed her limping on my lunch hour then applied antibiotic cream. Now I have her soaking it in epsom salts and will apply neosporin again. Is there so much damage to her nail that i need to completely clip it off or do you think there’s enough of it to heal? It’s causing her a good deal of pain and if it’s only going to fester....

I'd be tempted to trim that little bit sticking out, but in reality it will dry up and heal on its own.

Thanks. I had my fingers crossed that it’d be ok to leave it. I’ll keep a close eye on her for the next few days.
