Better late then never. These are young Tolbunt's and as they mature and molt, they will lose more white and feather color will change a bit as well. In my opinion, one of the most beautifully colored birds there is. I bred a few of the frizzled but prefer the smooth feather in the Tolbunt variety, I thought the frizzle disquised the beautiful patterns.
Both of mine are frizzled. I hope to get some smooth feathered. I have two female F1 crosses that I will put with the tolbunt roo once they get old enough.

Thanks. My frizzled male was of better quality as well. I sold him with a pullet many years ago at the Polish Nationals to a gentlemen who wanted to get started in the variety. He was a very pretty boy. My Tolbunt's are out on loan right now to someone who has the time to work with them out in Indiana and at this time I keep only bantams. I adore the color, always have. I do love the buff laced in frizzle though, I prefer that color frizzled and I also love the whites frizzled. I don't get on forums much, but found this topic and wanted to get in here. Some very lovely polish photos on this site and some very nice Polish people
I posted this picture in another polish thread as well, but wanted to post it here too in case some of you only follow this one. I am adding a new tolbunt rooster to my flock this week, and I was hoping some of you guys would give me your opinions of him. How does he measure up do you think?
