Told the wrong breed?

Bought this cutie from a local store. I was told it was a black australorp. Now 2 1/2 weeks old, pretty sure its a barred rock. Possibly female?

NOt an Australorps and not a barred rock, it looks like a Cuckoo Marans or a Dominique.

Looks like a barred rock to me, looked like what my little barred rocks looked like at 3 weeks.

Check the legs and feet,Plymouth Barred Rocks will have grayish or slate feet at that age. The photo of OP has cream or whitish feet, besides the barring is inconsistent.

Maybe it's a shadow but the OP's picture looks like grayish or slate feet. Perhaps a better picture could shed some light?
