beginning of february: 'mom, we have to order our chicks now, they probably won't have them if we wait'

today:'mom, the chicks we want to order aren't available until june'

I feel bad for you! My feed store doesn't "run out"... You order before incubation and then they ship the number of chick that you ordered to your feed store...

that sucks...i have always been able to just go to the feed store and pick out the ones i want and the amount i want...but this is farm country so.....
