It would be interesting to know what else they are fed.
Others have noted how their late starters have given them jumbo eggs. Early maturity can mean small eggs throughout their lives. That makes sense and it is something commercial outfits try to guard against.
Still, the late starters certainly are cause for understandable concern here on BYC.
