tomorrow is the big day going to slaughter my first chicken.i am doing one 25 week old blue orp roo.two 17 week old black orps,an 4 20 week old lavender orps.i have one huge bin for a 24hr ice bath an sea salt.bought a big turkey deepfryer to scald them in an a big bin for cold water to cool off after.i got a drill style plucker that i bought on here looks alot better then i ever thought it would it is huge cant wait to try it.got a real nice killing cone an some nice sharp boning knifes.my dad is coming over i am killing scalding an plucking then he is clean up an in the ice bath.if all goes well i have 15 more orp roos to do in another month..wish me luck i have hunted sence i was very young so i dont think it will be to bad.
