Tongue could be pulled out or choking please help

So my chicks some how found a string in their brooder and it is a thin thread, Elvis(4-5 weeks) somehow got one piece most of it down her throat and some possibly wrapped around the base of her tongue and two inches of the thread sticking out her beak. A light tug seems to pull her tongue and/or tighten it. her tongue also looks like the base or tip is loosing circulation. At least that's what I think because the front is lighter than the back of her tongue. PLEASE HELP!

Please help, Elvis isn't the strongest and I've been panicking! I keep crying then refreshing with a level head and then panicking tearfully again! Please, please!

That's terrible! Can you have someone help you gently hold the beak open and try to untangle it from the tongue and pull it out slowly, so sorry

When we open her mouth we can't see how far it goes down. and update, she seems to have swallowed it except she chokes every minute or two.

No, or atleast it doesn't apear to be, it's hard to tell.

I can imagine how scary and frustrating that must of been. Poor little guy.
