Yeah it was really scary for me and her, even my mom seemed to be really worried(she was asking for pics of chicken anatomy, CPR, contacting one of her friends from really far away who has chickens and preparing me for the worst and she's an optimist). We messaged a farmer friend of ours who said now that she has swallowed it,to put her in a different pen and take note of what she eats, drinks and passes.
I thought I'd post this in case someone else ever has the same issue. If it isn't down the throat(like Elvis' was) get a few partners and with mini-scissors snip the thread off her tongue. If it happens like it did for me, keep her with you seeing if she swallows it than do as I was told, separate and evaluate. If she doesn't swallow it after a few hours, I can't help you.
