Too big

I have a rooster that was given to me...he is almost 2 years old...i tried to look up his breed by colour..but when i typed in his stats and the way he sounds(scary deep voice)...it kept giving me the info on brahmad...anyone know what he might be...(the hen in pic next to him is full size for scale)...he is 2 ft 9 inches tall..and weighs just over 19 pounds

He's a mixed breed, probably with some barred rock in his ancestry.

I weighed him myself...and he looks like a barred rock...maybe plymouth...except he is twice their size

Website says the perfect brahma is 2.5 ft tall...hes taller..he just doesnt look like a brahma

Yeah, brahmas have feathered feet. His legs are very cleanshaven.

Idk what he is...but the hen behind him is average Ameraucana...5..almost 6 pounds and just over 1 ft...so thats the scale of his size..and his voice when he crows...hes the morgan freeman of roosters

Plymouth barred rock is a breed, but people, call them Barred rocks for short.
