Too close to breeding season to use Ivermectin?

I was going to give Ivermectin orally to my peafowl to address mites, fleas, etc. that are starting up here in North Florida. I hesitate to treat my breeding pair however since it is so close to breeding season. Any advice?
Not positive, but I think it's okay to use during breeding season.

If my birds need any treatment they get it no matter what the season is. That being said, I also make sure to have all of that done well before and after the breeding season. I can attest that Safeguard is fine in season and does not affect the birds laying. If you are concerned with lice, use the pour on topically. I do not use the injectable for worms as it is not very effective given orally.
