Yes...a Buff Orpington...she is such a good mama.
First time raising hatch-lings...what a wonderful experience.
Can you see the four little heads just sticking out? It rained (tons) and they are needing some warmth.

The chicks are -- OK, ready for this -- hens eggs were 2 brown Buff Orpington, 2 green Americauna -- rooster is Barred Rock and Cornish (given to us by our neighbor who had a hatch about 6 months ago and several roosters were born).

So 2 of the chicks are Buff Orpington-Barred-Rock-Cornish (primarily the Buff Orpington color) and 2 are Americauna-Barred Rock-Cornish (one is black and one is primarily the Americauna color).

They are almost 4 weeks old.
