as some of you may know I recently added a year old mini rooster to my 5 nine month old girls and things didn’t go so well at first. And while things still aren’t exactly friendly between him and 2 of the girls it’s definitely a lot better and he’s been roosting with them and has taken a liking to my 2 biggest and most dominant girls only enough lol one night I went to go close the coop door and I found Napoleon with his head completely under the feathers of one of his fave girls like he was her baby! Definitely not a dominant rooster but I thought it was too cute!

Ps. Excuse the poop lol

Here is a similar pic of my pheasants and quail. My one pheasant was the only one if 6 to survive west Nile. 4 A.F. his siblings died within 12 hours. He was extremely lonely and could barely walk. I felt so bad so a put some of my quail in with him. They immediately bonded. After a month or so he was able to walk better. So I got him a girl.
Since then they have been one big happy family.
