Too Early for Feb Hatch-A-Long Thread??

What brand brooder plate are y'all using? I'm not interested in making my own at this time. I've always used heatlamps but might try something different this time 'round.
I got mine at tractor supply I love it

I have a Brinsea Ecoglow 20 and I also have one of the ones that Premier1 makes. If you get one from Premier1 I recommend buying the little cord that they sell separately that allows you to regulate the temp because I think it runs a little hot.

I also have 2 “Sweeter Heaters” out in my coops since I have been moving babies out at 6-8 weeks and it’s cold here. Those can be used as brooder plates as well.

I've heard the same about the Premier1 brand, better safe than sorry. They really should have that automatically...

Late to the party but have 4 days to go on just 3 eggs—buff laced polish bantams & 13 days on some black mottled pita pinta asturianas in with a fertility check on my marans. Whew!!!

re: brooder plates: I have 3–a brinsea eco glow, a titan, and a rent-a-coop which I’ve all been pleased with
What's pita punta asturianas? Do you have pics of what they look like?

Got all 7 little babies into the brooder and they are cozy under the heating plate after dipping their beaks in the water. I am so in love with them.
Cleaned the egg shells out of the incubator since there are no pips, I wasn’t worried about the humidity drop. I have it back up to 60% now. Kinda worried no more are going to hatch, which I’d be sad about. There are 8 eggs left in there. 3 of them I think may have been clear so I don’t expect those to hatch. One I was 50/50 on. 3 others I’m pretty sure there was life at lockdown (1 OE, 2 Marans) and then my one that survived from the scrambled batch was definitely alive at lockdown. I could see since the egg is blue. But the air cell was still kinda rough so I’m not sure about that one. When should I start worrying about my 4 that I had high hopes for?
